Located at the Southwest angle of the Abbey building complex, the former lay brothers’ refectory is a six- bay room with ribbed arches, one of the most spacious rooms in the Abbey.
Following restoration work on the West facade in 2012, the Foundation decided to refurbish the entire building in 2014 for use as an event space to extend the existing event spaces in the former refectory and monks’ kitchens.
