The North Gallery is located in the Latrine building, which is one of the most original parts of the Abbey today with its canal running through its entire length. As one of the last Cistercian buildings of this type still extant in Europe, it bears witness to the Cistercians’ hydraulic engineering skills and attention to hygiene in the Middle Ages.
